About Me

I’m a matchmaker between people and houses, using a combination of high-touch and highAt Derby Light tech to help my clients find the house that’s right for them. I approach the process of selling property like I’m selling to a family member or friend, and enjoy building long-term relationships with my clients. While I’m attuned to using the latest technology and tools (like electronic signature software) to make the whole process easier and more convenient, I’m happy to communicate and work with clients in the way that’s most comfortable for them. Earning advanced certifications in real estate keeps me abreast of changes in laws and best practices, allowing me to help clients find just the right home in my favorite area, Boston’s North Shore.

”What makes the North Shore special?” you may ask. I’m not a native. I grew up in the Adirondack region of New York state in Lake George and Glens Falls. My family relocated to Chelmsford, MA, when I was a senior in high school, and I subsequently attended the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. After that, I lived in Marlboro, MA, Pelham, NH, and Candia, NH, finally landing on Boston’s North Shore, where I’ve lived for the past 22 years. I love it here and consider it my real home. Maybe a love for the North Shore is in my genes — my mother was born in Beverly and my great-great-great grandfather, Joseph Wallis, was mayor of Beverly from 1905-1906.

Having grown up in a rather isolated area, I appreciate the North Shore’s easy access to cities, mountains, lakes, shopping, and much of the rest of New England — all within a couple hours’ drive! Then there’s the ocean, which for me has the ability to work magic.  I’m also a big fan of the area’s many nature trails and beaches, including the good hiking in spots ranging from Halibut Point in Rockport to the Ipswich River Wildlife Sanctuary in Topsfield. It’s also fun to catch the urban vibe of Salem and explore its history at the world-class Peabody Essex Museum, see a polo match in Hamilton, or take a whale-watch from Gloucester. On the North Shore, there’s always something to do – and it’s a lovely place to simply enjoy doing nothing, too.

Whether you’re new to the area or a long-time resident, I’d be happy to help you find your own place to love. As a full-service real estate consultant specializing in the North Shore areas of Beverly, Beverly Farms, Danvers, Essex, Gloucester, Hamilton, Manchester, Rockport, Salem, and Wenham, my goal is to present all of the wonderful advantages of living in this area. I’ve always been a big believer in home ownership, having bought my first home in my early twenties, and five more after that.

Oh, and yes, I’m an animal lover, as you might have guessed from the photo. I’m a volunteer with and contributor to Cape Ann Animal Aid, and I share my home with my husband, Mike; our collie, Casey; our Maine coon cat, Tobey; and shelter cat, Henry.

I would love to share with you my enthusiasm for the North Shore’s many wonderful neighborhoods. I pride myself on providing unparalleled service and look forward to developing a long-term relationship with you. Please feel free to contact me if you would like to discuss how I can best assist you with your real estate needs. See what my clients have to say.
